Loving my new Lens...
I've recently purchased a new lens to go with my new camera....a 24-70L....and I love it. I've heard its one of the best zoom lenses out there and I must admit I'm having a lot of fun with it. But I do still favourite the prime lenses, nothing beats the sharpness that they produce. Here are some images of today.

Master B
I was lucky enough to have a photoshoot with a gorgeous little 18 day old baby boy, Master B. I would like to thank his mother for this beautiful opportunity and for having so much trust in me when it came to handling your precious little man. It made this shoot very enjoyable and relaxing for me to do, for you to feel comfortable with me around him makes it so much easier. Here is just a sneak peak for tonight.

Cookie Fun
Today Miss H enjoyed some time with her cousin Miss E. Two girls who enjoy each others company and love getting together to play. I took over some cookie mixture and the girls got to have some fun in the Kitchen.
Here are just a few images I captured in between helping them cook their yummy cookies.
and thought I'd add in a quote I love....

Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife World
During the Holidays my parents took us to the Aquarium and Wildlife World as a holiday treat for the kids. We all had a fantastic time, its such a great place to take the children in winter to escape the cold wind. I love this time that the children spend with their Grandparents, its a great bonding time and also creates beautiful memories for the children to have as they grown up.
Here are two of my favourite images from the day.
Grandparents hold our tiny hands for just a little while, but our hearts forever.

Little Miss P.
While I was down visiting my parents in the Blue Mountains I took some time out to do a photoshoot with a friend's family. Unfortunately the weather was very windy and majority of photos were done inside which is something I'm not completely comfortable doing with such a large group (family of eleven) but all is experience right? !.
I couldn't help myself but edit a few of gorgeous little 6 month Miss P this afternoon and show you some of the images. I had asked her mother at the end of the session if I could try some of my new fluffy backdrops out, which I absolutely adore, and think Miss P is a very very cute model and did an amazing job as I was able to get some beautiful pics in just a quick 5 minute shoot.
I will add more photos of the family shoot over the coming week.

By the Seaside
Today we took the opportunity to enjoy the warm winter sun and went for a walk down tot the Cowrie Hole while it was low tide. The kids love to explore all of the rocks and water holes for creatures and seashells and I also took the opportunity to take my camera along of course.
Day 29 - Black and White
This image was taken for the 30 Day Photography Challenge....I must admit I thought I was doing exceptionally well getting a photo done a day, but then by Day 27 my life just got busy and busier, and I was less motivated to take the time out to take a photo...so these may have not been done on the actual day but I did eventually catch up in regards to the theme.
Lifestyle Photography
Here is a photo I took of my daughter the other day playing with her beloved Little Pet shops. They seem to be the latest craze with young girls at the moment. Well I actually should call them LPS's...trying to keep up with the latest trendy sayings. I also love taking 'lifestyle' shots, its shows us the person as they are, not posed, but what they do, what they love to do and I think there personality also shines through.

Newcastle Musician Photo shoot
Yesterday I had the chance to meet a very talented musician who was after some portrait photos. This was my first photo shoot that I have done for a musician and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have also come away from this experience with more knowledge about what to do and what not to do for senior portraits. Thanks to Mr G for this Opportunity. Here is a sneak peak of some of the many images taken yesterday.
