I always enjoy catching up with my beautiful little niece Miss E and nephew Master A. Time is precious, even in a month they grow up and change so much.

Newcastle Baths
Today Miss H and I took full advantage of the beautiful weather we had today(sun was shining and I think it actually reached 22 degrees) and headed out to Newcastle Beach/Baths for a walk.

Red Gerbera from my Back Garden
I bought this $6 dollar Gerbera plant from Coles. It had two gorgeous flowers already blooming on it, so before the plant died, I thought, why not plant it in the back garden....thinking that there was more of a chance it would die I didn't hold my breath. Fortunately it is growing quite nicely, produced this new flower and another one is coming along, fancy that! I might have a green thumb after all! :).

Beautiful Bokeh....
Unfortunately the spider didn't want to co-operate with me and spread its legs....must be camera shy! But I do love the Bokeh created here by the raindrops on the spiders web.

Cowrie Hole, Newcastle
Finally our first day of sunshine all week! To take the opportunity of a beautiful day, I took the kids down to the little beach next to Nobby's Beach to look for sea shells. Sitting on the rocks was a Pelican sunning itself, so it seemed, and was quite happy to sit and pose for my camera.

Celebrating Miss H's Birthday...
My husband presented me with a dozen red roses on the day of Miss H's birthday.....you see, there is a bit of romance hidden in him somewhere :).

My Beautiful little Princess's Fourth Birthday Party
On Saturday we had a party for Miss H's fourth Birthday. She had an absolute Ball. It amazes me how time just seems to pass us by so quickly, I remember the day I brought her home from hospital as a newborn, now she's a really "little Miss", so grown up and I'm loving every minute of it (well I could do away with the odd tears and tantrums :)).
Between all the running around and hosting the party, I was able to take a photo or two.
